East Coast

This side of the island is remarkable for its beautiful villages and its memorable beaches. Kallithea beach (10km) is a stunning pine-covered bay with old spas; A bit further we reach Faliraki (14km), a cosmopolitan resort with an exquisite beach; Ladiko is a nice sandy coast and Anthony Quinn a marvelous rocky beach. Afandou (20km) is an old village with a long beach of big pebbles and crystal-clear water. To the right of the Kolimbia coast a road leads to the enchanting Seven Springs (Epta Piges), a cool oasis with pine trees and a narrow flowing stream.

Greek Beauty and Hidden Coastal Gems

Tsambika is a long sandy coast but also a mountain, with a Virgin Mary monastery on its top. Archangelos (29 km) is noteworthy for its beautiful traditional houses, ceramics and carpet workshops. Haraki, a charming fishing village, lies on the beginning of a marvelous coast and includes the medieval castle of Faraklos. Lindos (47km) is the must-see village with the Greek blue-white architecture style, the pebbled courtyards, a lovely central beach and the magic little bay of St. Paul.
